Ada Infrastructure begins construction of third Tokyo data center
Ada Infrastructure held a groundbreaking ceremony for the third building at its TKW1 Tokyo campus on September 4, 2026. This is the company's fifth data-centre project in Japan. The TKW1 campus comprises three facilities totalling 31 MW: two 10 MW facilities and one 11 MW facility. Building 1 began operations in May 2025, Building 2 is under construction with an expected start in 2027, and Building 3's ceremony was held on this date. Ada plans to invest $120 million over five years to deliver 900 MW of total data-centre capacity across five Japanese campuses in Tokyo and Osaka.

This is Ada's fifth project in Japan and its second groundbreaking in Tokyo in four months. The TKW1 campus will comprise two 10MW buildings and one 11MW facility, with the first building due to go live in May 2025 and the second in 2027.
