A closer look
Who is actually building, and where
The operators surface is a league table of the industry: every company ranked by live megawatts, with pipeline, growth, facilities, markets, and headquarters alongside. Public, REIT, PE-backed, and independent ownership are all labeled, so the structure of the market is visible at a glance.
Open any operator for the full picture: their facilities mapped one by one, the markets they concentrate in, how their capacity has grown, and what is moving through their pipeline right now.
Screens start here. Sort by growth to find the challengers, by pipeline to see where capital is committed, or filter by focus to build the exact competitive set you care about.

FAQ
Questions, answered
How many operators do you track?
2,100+ companies: operators, owners, and REITs, with portfolios mapped facility by facility.
What does the ranking sort on?
Live capacity by default: megawatts from commissioned facilities. You can re-sort on pipeline, growth, markets, or facilities at any time.
Do you cover small regional operators?
Yes. Coverage runs from global hyperscalers to single-site independents, on the same schema, so a small operator's record is as structured as a large one's.
How do you know an operator's capacity?
Capacity aggregates from the operator's individual facility records, each verified against filings, announcements, and our own cross-checks. When we cannot verify a number we leave it blank rather than guess.
Can I compare operators directly?
Yes. Select up to four in Compare and they line up across capacity, reach, and growth measures.
Do profiles show what an operator is building?
Yes. Each profile carries the operator's pipeline as we verify it: what is announced, what broke ground, and what is about to energize.
How often do rankings update?
Continuously. When a facility energizes or a pipeline project is confirmed, the operator's numbers move with it.
