Namex is an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) founded in the mid-1990s within the University of Rome. Its mission is to provide a neutral infrastructure for interconnecting national and international players to enhance the Italian Internet infrastructure. Namex offers neutral colocation services, private network interconnects, and remote IXP services. It provides a platform for network operators to exchange IP traffic and establish physical cross-connects, facilitating mutual interconnection and enhancing digital infrastructure.
