    SK Telecom announced the establishment of SK Horizon, a new AI data center infrastructure company, through a spin-off of its subsidiary SK Broadband. KKR and the IMM Investment-Stonebridge consortium committed a combined KRW 3.08 trillion (~US$2.2 billion) equity investment, acquiring 29% and 20% stakes respectively, while SKT retains 51%. SK Horizon will operate eight existing data centers totaling 318 MW capacity across South Korea and manage expansion to new facilities under construction in Ulsan and Guro.
