    BDx starts construction on 640 MW AI data center in West Java

    Singapore-based BDx Data Centers began construction on July 28, 2026, on the CGK4 campus, a 640 MW artificial intelligence data center in Jatiluhur, West Java, Indonesia. The first 120 MW facility is expected to begin operating in early 2027 and will utilize direct-to-chip liquid cooling to support power densities up to 500 kW. The facility has secured 845 MVA of grid capacity from state utility PLN and is pursuing clean energy supply including hydroelectric power from Perum Jasa Tirta II. The full campus will be developed over three years with six planned buildings delivering capacity in phases.
