    CtrlS Datacenters, an Indian data centre operator headquartered in Hyderabad, has received investment commitments from tech entrepreneurs Nikhil Kamath (Rs 200 crore / $20.9 million) and Sreeram Reddy Vanga (Rs 50 crore / $5.2 million). The investments support CtrlS's expansion of data-centre capacity for AI, cloud, and digital workloads across India. CtrlS operates 19 data centres across nine markets with over 370 MW of capacity and 4.4 GW of projects in execution. This follows the company's June partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, which committed $739 million.

    Zerodha Founder Kamath, Entrepreneur Vanga Invest ₹250 Cr in CtrlS Datacenters

    Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath invested ₹200 crore and entrepreneur Sreeram Vanga invested ₹50 crore in hyperscale data centre operator CtrlS Datacenters on 19 August 2026. The capital supports CtrlS's infrastructure expansion and capacity build-out across India to meet growing enterprise and hyperscaler demand driven by AI, cloud, and digital workloads. CtrlS operates 19 data centres across nine Indian markets with 370 MW of capacity and 4.4 GW in projects under development. The investment follows CtrlS's July partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) committing up to ₹7,000 crore.
