About Interxion
Interxion's business model emphasizes retail colocation serving a balanced customer mix spanning enterprise, hyperscale, financial services, and media organizations. The company's commitment to 100 percent renewable energy across its entire portfolio positions it distinctly within the market, particularly given European regulatory trends and customer sustainability mandates. As a carrier neutral operator, Interxion provides customers with connectivity flexibility and vendor independence, a critical competitive advantage in markets where interconnection density and multi-carrier access drive customer selection.
The operator operates within an increasingly consolidated industry where European data center consolidation has accelerated significantly. Interxion's regional dominance in continental Europe contrasts with the geographic spread of global hyperscalers, positioning the company as a preferred partner for enterprises requiring carrier neutral colocation in major European cities. The subsidiary structure provides both operational autonomy and access to parent company resources. Looking forward, Interxion's market position reflects maturation in developed European markets balanced against modest growth opportunities in adjacent regions, with competitive intensity from both larger global operators and specialized regional players remaining considerable.
Leading European provider of carrier- and cloud-neutral colocation data center services, now operating as a Digital Realty subsidiary.
