Samsung opens FläktGroup HVAC manufacturing facility in Pune for AI data centre cooling
Samsung Electronics announced completion of a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, operated by FläktGroup, a Samsung subsidiary acquired in November 2025. The plant will manufacture Air Handling Units, Fan Wall Units, and Computer Air Handlers for AI data centres and critical infrastructure, with capacity to produce up to 6,500 HVAC units annually. The facility is strategically located near Mumbai to supply cooling solutions across India and the Asia-Pacific region. This is the first new FläktGroup manufacturing facility to become operational since Samsung's acquisition of the global HVAC specialist.
TCS secures 200 acres in Anakapalli for data center expansion
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has acquired 200 acres of land in Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh, India from the state government to support its data center infrastructure push. The acquisition is strategically located in the same region where Google is constructing a 1 GW hyperscale data center facility.
