  Singapore's Economic Development Board and Infocomm Media Development Authority announced that Digital Realty, Equinix, Keppel Data Centres and ST Telemedia Global Data Centres have won allocations of 200 MW each under the second Data Centre Call for Application (DC-CFA2) exercise. The four winners were selected from 20 proposals through a competitive process and will develop facilities on Jurong Island at a 'Sustainable Data Centre Park'. All operators committed to exceed sustainability requirements, powering at least 50% of capacity from green energy sources and adopting advanced technologies including liquid cooling. The authorities indicated they will consider a third Call for Application in 18–24 months.

  STT GDC secures USD 1.37bn green financing for Malaysia Johor campus

  ST Telemedia Global Data Centres announced the close of a USD 1.37 billion green financing facility to support development of STT Johor, its flagship data centre campus in Johor, Malaysia. The financing package, led by United Overseas Bank with OCBC, Standard Chartered and CIMB as mandated lead arrangers, will fund Phase 1 of the campus and subsequent phases. STT Johor is planned to reach 166 MW of IT load capacity and will support cloud, AI, HPC and digital workloads. The facility reinforces STT GDC's sustainability commitments, including its achievement of 83.2% renewable energy consumption and 70.5% carbon intensity reduction against 2021 baseline.
