Global Switch has laid the foundation stone for Madrid 2, its second data centre in the Spanish capital, to meet growing demand for AI, cloud, and HPC capacity in the region. The Tier 1 facility in central Madrid will span 24,000 m² and reach 56 MW of capacity. Construction is managed by EIGO Construcciones, with service entry targeted for 2029 and full capacity by 2032.
