  Core Scientific Plans 1.5 GW Expansion at Pecos, Texas Data Center Campus

  Core Scientific announced a multi-tiered expansion strategy to scale its Pecos, Texas campus to approximately 1.5 GW of gross power (1.0 GW leasable). The company has secured an incremental 300 MW of gross power under contract and developed a behind-the-meter solution for additional capacity. The first data hall has reached critical construction milestones with interior foundational footings set and precast concrete walls arriving on site, with initial capacity expected in early 2027.

  Ionic Digital leases data center facility in Barstow, Texas

  Ionic Digital Cedarvale LLC (landlord) entered into a net lease agreement with NScale Ward County LLC (tenant) for a data center and network operations center facility located at 3013 Ranch Road 516, Barstow, TX 79719. The lease became effective October 14, 2025, with a 10-year initial term commencing August 1, 2026, and includes a tenant option to renew for an additional 10 years at fair market rent. The lease covers Buildings A, B, C, D and O&M with tenant bearing all operating expenses under an absolute net lease structure.
