JP Morgan Chase Issues CMBS with H5 Denver Data Center Asset
JP Morgan Chase Commercial Mortgage Securities Corp filed a 424B5 prospectus supplement on November 24, 2014, for a commercial mortgage-backed securities issuance that includes H5 Denver Data Center as a mortgaged property representing approximately 1.0% of the initial pool balance. The data center property was securing an active capital improvement plan valued at approximately $6.12 million at the time of filing. The CMBS pool included multiple property types across various U.S. markets as collateral for the securitization.
Digital Realty Trust Closes Data Center Acquisitions, Expands to 8M SF
Digital Realty Trust completed the acquisition of five data centers and one office building, expanding its portfolio to 8.0 million net rentable square feet across 33 properties. One facility near Denver, Colorado (82,000 SF) is 100% leased to Ameriquest Mortgage Company through February 2012 for approximately $16.4 million. Four additional data centers and an office building in Santa Clara and El Segundo, California are 100% leased to Savvis, Inc. through February 2019. The acquisitions increased the company's asset base by 44% and net rentable square footage by 43%.
Digital Realty Acquires Ameriquest Data Center in Denver
Digital Realty Trust, through its subsidiary Digital Concord Center LLC, completed the acquisition of the Ameriquest Data Center located in Englewood, Colorado (Denver metropolitan area) from Global Concord Operating Company, a subsidiary of Global Innovation Partners. The single-story data center facility was approved for acquisition by the independent members of Digital Realty's board of directors. This transaction expands Digital Realty's data center portfolio in the Denver region.
